ACA was founded in 1999 through the purchase of the Albion Area Ambulance Service. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity and are proud to keep pre-hospital emergency care local and readily available for the citizens of our service area.
In 2012 our Board of Trustees created Emergent Health Partners, which owns and operates ACA as well as five other ambulance services throughout southern Michigan. Altogether Emergent Health’s EMS agencies serve over 1 million Michigan residents.
