MCA was founded in 2006 through the collaboration of Mercy Memorial Hospital (now ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital), LifeStar Ambulance, ProMedica Transportation Network, and Huron Valley Ambulance
In 2012 our Board of Trustees created Emergent Health Partners, which owns and operates MCA as well as five other ambulance services throughout southern Michigan. Altogether Emergent Health’s EMS agencies serve over 1 million Michigan residents.
